The terms that govern this platform

PMA Science Psychology is one platform of PMA Science University®, operated by PMA Science LLC. The company’s master Terms & Conditions govern your use of it. This page states the terms specific to this platform, and points you to the master document for everything else.

The governing document

Your use of this platform is governed by the PMA Science LLC Terms & Conditions, which apply to all PMA Science LLC websites, applications, educational platforms, digital products and services. Where anything on this page appears to conflict with that document, that document prevails.

What this platform is

PMA Science Psychology publishes original educational and professional resources on observing behaviour, understanding emotion, structured observation, and supporting neurodivergent people. It is a working library and a set of printable instruments. It is not a clinic, not a course of treatment, and not a professional supervision service.

Educational scope, stated plainly

Nothing published here is a diagnostic instrument, a psychometric test, a screening tool, or a substitute for assessment, treatment, supervision or emergency care by a qualified professional. No resource here produces a score, a threshold, a classification or a diagnosis, and none should be presented as though it does. PMA Science University® is a non-accredited educational institution; the resources here carry no academic credit and confer no licence, registration or professional qualification.

Your own duties as a practitioner

If you use these resources in professional, educational or care work, your own registration, employer policy, safeguarding duties, local law and supervision arrangements all take precedence over anything published here. You remain responsible for the decisions you make and the records you produce. Where a question exceeds your competence or authority, refer.

Purchases, payment and downloads

  • Free resources may be downloaded, printed and used with the people you work with, including in paid professional practice, at no cost and with no account or email address required.
  • Paid resources are sold, paid for and delivered through pmascience.com. Your order, receipt, payment method and download entitlement all live there, and the master Terms cover them.
  • A purchase grants one licence to the buyer: use the resource in your own practice, print what you need for the people you work with, and quote it with attribution. It does not grant the right to resell it, publish it, distribute it as your own, put it behind another paywall, or include it in a product or training package you sell without written permission.

All text, instruments, diagrams and documents published here are original material of PMA Science LLC unless a source is cited on the page. Where we draw on published research, the source is named so you can check it yourself, and the underlying research remains the property of its authors and publishers.

Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes to what a resource claims, or to what a licence allows, will be stated on the page they affect rather than made quietly. The master Terms record the effective date that governs.
